Yes, insurance is required of our guest(s) while renting a vehicle from Ohana Rent A Car.

If you do not have an insurance policy under your own name, we will be able to accept another policy holder’s insurance IF you are listed/covered as an additional driver. If you are not covered under any other policy, you will have to purchase other means of insurance.

Unfortunately, Ohana Rent A Car does not provide insurance for sale at this time. Insurance will have to be personally provided. If there is no proof of insurance, reservation will not be completed and must be cancelled.

Yes, any additional drivers you may have, must also provide a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.

Due to regulations implemented by the Kahului Airport (OGG) we, unfortunately, are not able to provide delivery services at this time.

Your rental will be available for pick up at Ohana Rent A Car’s office located at 357 Huku Lii Pl, Suite A-102, Kihei, HI 96753.

Transportation will be available curbside at the Kahului Airport (i.e., taxi). We also provide our own shuttle services for your convenience at no charge during business hours and for a small fee after hours.

Shuttle will now be on a set schedule.
For returns, leaving 357 Huku Lii Pl to Kahului Airport (OGG) every hour beginning at 9:00am (10:00am, 11:00am, etc.).
For pickup, arriving at Kahului Airport (OGG) every hour beginning at 9:30am (10:30am, 11:30am, etc.).
**Last courtesy shuttle for pickup/return will be 4:30pm. After hours shuttle will still be available to those who have applied the after-hour shuttle fee in advance.**

FREE shuttle services will be available to and from Kahului Airport from 9:00am – 4:30pm.
ii: Shuttle service transportation after our normal business hours will be subject to an additional fee.

If AFTER HOUR shuttle arrangements have been made prior to trip start and after hour shuttle fee has been applied to your reservation, please call (808) 866-7593 and an agent will give instruction on designated waiting area, shuttle description, and ETA.
If NO after hours shuttle arrangements have been made and shuttle has NOT been applied, vehicle MUST be picked up the following day during business hours.
